Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

• 2+ years of relevant experience in program coordination or student services

• 2 years of experience managing student service or student mentor programs

Responsibilities

• The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the hiring, supervision, programming, marketing, and onboarding support for the STEM Summer Workforce Development Excursions Program, which aims to expose youth ages 10-17 in STEM career opportunities.

• This role involves coordinating various activities and events to enhance student engagement and success during the summer enrollment period

• Designs and implements recruitment, welcome, and onboarding activities, including virtual information sessions and the Summer welcome session

• Develops and oversees program-specific activities such as employer visits, career programming, and student success workshops

• Manages all aspects of communication and marketing for the program, including information sessions and onboarding documents

• Collaborates with the GS Management to develop marketing tools and resources, including website content

• Assists with major departmental events throughout the year

• Performs other duties as assigned
